At the end, Scrooge is a nice, friendly man and seems to be in good standings with everyone in town. This is interesting considering the fact that he is still a proprietor who "stole" the business from Fezziwig, his loving mentor, and it's an event that can never be undone. However, there simply wasn't enough time to address this issue on screen, so it can be assumed that Scrooge tried to atone in a way that was not depicted.
