At 57:45 when Johnny and Luke are about to land the Cessna in a field, Johnny looks down and says the engine was turned off. However, the next shot shows Johnny's hand pulling back on the throttle. That's the wrong direction to speed up the engine. On nearly every airplane, and definitely on Cessnas, you push the throttle forward to increase the engine RPM and pull it back to decrease. It's even written on the panel next to the throttle: "PUSH OPEN."
