No assassin would use depleted uranium bullets. They are extremely dense and used for piercing armor. They do not mushroom in soft tissue so would leave a narrow wound channel and less damage than an expanding bullet. In the days before controlled expansion bullets, mafia hit men would load the bullets in the casings backward. These were called "dum dums" and would produce maximum damage.
