Before the traffic light is sabotaged, the shot pans down to a Gremlin at a utility box trying to short-circuit the wires. The shot is actually reversed backward: smoke is "sucked" back into the wires while the Gremlin is zapping the two ends. The original shot actually started on the Gremlin and then panned up to reveal that the traffic signal has double green lights, which is another revealing mistake: the lamp has two green lights before it is revealed that the Gremlin sabotaged the signal.
