After Kent has run off into the woods, he is found by a boy scout who he attempts to eat, only succeeding in biting his finger. The boy screams and runs off. However, no one in the nearby Boy Scout troupe seems to hear any of this. What's more, it's unlikely that this wouldn't have been reported to the police, resulting in an all points bulletin for a man dressed up like a clown attempting to assault a child. Since there was a resulting mark o the child's finger, this would be evidence later on had Kent been found later on.
