After the bus arrives at the airport and is circling the runways, several aircraft are shown taking off in the background. If an unauthorised individual or vehicle enters an airfield, all aircraft movements including arrivals and departures are immediately stopped. There's no way that commercial flight operations would be allowed to continue when a bus carrying a large bomb is being driven around the airfield, even with the LAPD on scene and managing the situation.
