When Walter is auditioning there is a medium close-up shot of Kohut with her left hand on her lap and the right hand resting on the chair. However in the next immediate cut which is also a medium close-up; both her hands are on her lap. Additionally; during the aforementioned cuts, the piano music is edited so that the musical passages from one cut to another are disjointed.
