Jack Pumpkinhead tells Dorothy that Mombi hasn't remembered that he's in the tower because she hasn't worn the same head since then. But Mombi's original head, which has never met Dorothy, addresses Dorothy Gale by her full name. Dorothy is an Oz hero for killing two Wicked Witches, so it is reasonable to suppose that Mombi has seen portraits of Dorothy.
