Towards the end of the movie, when Mr. Jones (John Witherspoon) is on the toilet having a heartfelt discussion with his son Craig, (Ice Cube) right before he walks out of the bathroom while holding his nose, you can see his wedding ring indentation on his left hand although marriage is not part of the plot.
