The movie is supposedly set at the end of 2011 going into 2012 (to coincide with the movie's release). However, in the beginning of the film in Times Square, you can see that the countdown year set is 2011. This would not be true since the countdown always shows the forthcoming year. This error is likely because the film had real filming on 12/31/10.
