Near the end of the movie, Neil takes away Ray's coworker's feelings of worship of him, then says, "Everyone else, forget about Ray!" Previously, all of Neil's wishes were realized literally. This time, both he and Catherine still remember Ray, even though the wish called for everyone but Miss Pringle to forget about him.
