In the first film, Taylor and his companions had off white, dirty and torn astronaut suits which the humans had taken. When we see the chimps exit the space craft, they are wearing bright white, new suits. Clearly Taylor and his company would have not brought 3 extra space suits with them on their voyage. If they did, they certainly wouldn't be bright white after the ship sank into dirty lake water.
