In Dana Barrett's first scene, a shot shows the avenue below her apartment from the roof, just before she steps out of the cab. The head of a gargoyle with protruding sharp teeth is on the side of the roof. The yellow traffic lines separating the lanes on the avenue below, are visible "through" the teeth.
