(at around 2h 45 mins) Rafe shoots and kills the Japanese soldiers taking Danny away, before a fourth soldier aims his rifle at Rafe. Rafe discovers his pistol is empty and the Japanese soldier who had been aiming his rifle at Rafe and only has to pull the trigger, then turns and aims again.
