Later in the movie there's a second 3-on-3 swim meet between Macdonald Hall and York Academy, this time all swimmers are shown completing the race in close succession. The scoreboard shows that Macdonald Hall finished 3rd, 4th and 5th with 1st and 2nd remaining under discussion. This should be all of the Macdonald Hall swimmers accounted for, but both the team and the spectators are still shown waiting in anticipation for which team won first place, as if it's still possible Macdonald Hall could win.
