(at around 1h 24 mins) Superman uses his heat vision to melt a mirror (that's showing his reflection). Even though the heat vision is usually like lasers and should reflect (as it did in the previous installment, Superman II). It's likely it was a different 'heat vision' type Superman can control and was using.
