When McClane and Zeus solve the water riddle they realise that they need to pour water out of the full 5-gallon bottle into the 3-gallon bottle which currently contains 2 gallons, leaving 4 gallons behind. However the 5-gallon bottle needs to be full first, and it clearly isn't.
