When Eve hits the black BMW in the rear end on the highway, the steering wheel airbag deploys. This cannot occur, as the sensors for that air bag are in or behind the front bumper. Since being struck in the rear end makes a body move backwards, forcing them towards the seat, the deployment of a steering wheel airbag would be pointless, and would render it useless if the vehicle was then pushed into something in front of it.
