At the end of the last movie, Barty Crouch Jr was sent back into Azkaban. As the movie left out his ultimate fate (in the book, he got the Dementor's Kiss, his soul got removed, making him a catatonic, lifeless man), it creates a plot hole for this movie, as it raises the question why Voldemort would leave him of all people behind, when he breaks his most loyal followers out of Azkaban.
