Vincent chooses cab drivers because they know the city, their vehicles are nondescript and because the cab can be anywhere and not attract attention. These traits are ruined nearly immediately when the body lands on Max's hood and windshield heavily damaging the cab and attracting the attention of a police unit shortly afterwards. Why still use Max and his cab when, except for Max's knowledge of the city, the original plan has failed?
