The African soldier on the boat pulls a 1911 government model out and fires 5 rounds at dirk then turns and fires another 5 rounds at the other boat. A few seconds later he fires an additional 5 rounds at dirk. 1911's typically have a 7 or 8 round magazine with 1 in the barrel for a total of 8 or 9 rounds. The soldier fired a total of 15 rounds without changing magazines.Well, if you carefully listen and count the difference between shots fired and damage noise caused by those shots, it could be that he only fired three shots in each of those instances after which he has plenty of time to reload for the six shots fired after Dirk jumps back to his boat.
