When the missile is launched at Bond's jet plane at the beginning of the film, it drops a bit as it leaves the launcher showing that it is actually on a wire of some kind. As the missile is seen flying through the air, it "wiggles" as it travels along the wire that it's attached to. In some of the other scenes, it looks as if it is attached to the jet by a wire that is dragging it along behind it.
