During the beach assault, several medics and possibly a doctor are treating a wounded soldier in the open. At this time, the American soldiers are taking heavy small arms and mortar fire. Three or more medics treating one soldier in such a situation is not likely given the risk of losing all of the medics with the fire power that they faced.
