(at around 13 mins) Langdon was told there is a "Vatican jet standing by", but when they are arriving to the Vatican they are in a helicopter, not a jet. However, the helicopter was simply a transfer from the airport to Vatican, as a jet cannot be landed there; neither can a helicopter fly from US to Italy.
