There is one branch that gets a main character killed, but if you continue this route only to take a wrong turn later you get back to the original branch (where supposedly this dead character is still alive), the main protagonist continues the movie as if this person is alive even when they died 20-30 minutes ago. He is literally putting his own life in danger to save the other character (even when she is dead).
