The movie shows the tomb of Enrico Dandolo as an elaborately-carved, free-standing sepulcher on the ground floor of Istanbul's Hagia Sophia, right underneath its gigantic dome. In fact, Dandolo's tomb (or rather a cenotaph marble slab placed there in the 19th century as the real tomb has been lost to history) is located on the upper Eastern gallery and is a simple marker virtually flush with the floor.
