After the phone call in the public telephone booth, David takes out a Swiss knife, determined to end his life by cutting his wrist. Yet he extracts the wrong blade. In fact, every Swiss knife has a little saw, which would be much more useful for his purpose. It is difficult to understand how David could not know something like this.
