Towards the end of the film there's a fight between Ivan (Francis Matthews) and Rasputin (Christopher Lee). Francis in an interview said that he spent about 14 days filming the fight with Chris' double. 'I got thrown over a settee which toppled over and a bookcase fell on me so I was very dishevelled and in a mess. When you look at the film I'm very smart and neat and looking round with Dr Zargo (Richard Pasco) for Rasputin who comes from behind a chair and throws a knife which goes into Richard's back. Chris comes running over and picks me up from the floor and I'm dishevelled and my hair a mess and somewhat worse for wear. Almost all of the fight had been cut'
