When Indiana is hanging from the bridge holding one half of his bag and the other guy is holding the other half the bag catches on fire as the stones fall. After Mola Ram falls and Indy climbs up, the front of his bag is intact. When they are walking to the village after that he is wearing the bag behind him with clearly no burn marks. Then in the next scene it disappears and reappears.
