The Goblet of Fire draws fourth candidate for the Triwizard Tournament despite the term "Triwizard" implies only three wizards should participate in the tournament.In the book, Mad-Eye Moody mentions after the Goblet picked the champions that the Goblet was bewitched to forget how many champions it must select. Although, since this sentence wasn't said in the film, it may be considered a plot hole.
