At the end of the swordfight in the wheatfield, when Edmond stabs Mondego, the sword goes through the right side of Mondego's chest and the viewer can see his tie fall loosely onto the protruding sword. In the next shot, when Mondego is lying on the ground, the sword is through his left side and sticking through the tie also.
