When Will Smith , still as a regular cop, chases the guy (actually alien), he jumps from the bridge on the double-Decker tour bus and falls on his chest afterwards. But, the bus velocity was faster than his for sure and he should fall on his back after he makes contact with his legs on the forward moving bus.
