Juan Seguin is shown coming back to the Alamo with the Gonzales Company. It's implied that he was killed in the Alamo as he is never shown leaving, or dying in the final battle. This didn't happen. Seguin left the Alamo on the third day of the siege with dispatches from Colonel Travis. He had gathered around two dozen men to go back with him to the Alamo, but it had fallen by the time they returned. Seguin was later placed in charge of burying the remains of the Alamo defenders. Throughout his life, Seguin alternated between Texas and his native Mexico, serving as a Texas senator and judge, but also serving under Santa Anna in the Mexican-American War of 1846-8. He died in 1890, at the age of 83.
