Shortly before the Silver Streak crashes, it is shown entering a train shed, purportedly that of Chicago Central Station (filmed at Toronto Union). In one shot, the train is approaching the station from the west, with the (now Fairmont) Royal York Hotel visible in the background, which is north of the station. In the next shot, the train is seen moving progressively to the right to enter the train shed on the last available track. This scene was shot entering the train shed from the east. Finally, there is an exterior shot of the train now in the train shed, with another track separating the train and the camera. This is, once again, on the west side of the station.
