When Q introduces the Little Nellie gyrocopter he describes the twin machine guns as "synchronised". This does not refer to the use of an interruptor gear for shooting through a spinning propeller as with a WWI fighter plane. It refers to the distance at which the bullet paths from two machine guns overlap.
