When Meg Ryan's character is in Louis Bamberger's office, Louis plays a Spike Jones stereo recording on an Emerson Multiplex High Fidelity Stereo Console. This stereo console did not exist at the time that the movie was set (March and April 1955). The first commercial stereo record was not sold until 1958. The movie actually shows an RCA 78 RPM Mono record, not a stereo 33 1/3 RPM LP record.
