(at around 30 mins) After Dr. Challis checks into the motel, almost gets hit by Little Buddy Kupfer's bicycle and narrowly ran over by Marge Guttman's car, he enters the room and tells Ellie the "place is a zoo". Although it was bright and sunny outside immediately before, when he enters it's pitch dark behind him.
