After Calvin's trackers from the ranch ambush Alton's family there is a shoot out between Roy and Lucas on the one side and the ambushers on the other side, during which people are shot from closes by and seem seriously wounded. Yet both the ambushers and Roy and Lucas seem to get away with the wounds they suffered quite easily.
