At one point Bond intentionally shoots and kills an unarmed, defenseless woman, who at that point in time posed absolutely no direct threat to neither him nor anyone else(!), as in apparently out of nothing but thirst for retaliation over past transgressions or just utter lack of self-control. A trained agent of his seasoned statue (let alone one with an inherit fondness of women) would simply _never_ abuse his "licence-to-kill" privileges like this.
