Buster Scruggs faces off with Surly Joe in the saloon and kicks the table to make Surly Joe shoot himself in the head three times, but this is physically impossible. The revolver is single-action, meaning it must be cocked by a separate action of the hand or thumb before the next trigger pull fires the weapon. Also, the sequence begins and ends with the hammer down rather than cocked.
