Early in the movie, as the P-38 reconnaissance film roll is being dropped off to be developed, the sign by the building says "United States Air Force".Even in 1945, when the movie was released, this is incorrect. The United States Air Force was not formed until 1947. During WWII it was the United States Army Air Force.
