When Dad is driving the kids to the Astros game, in downtown Houston, they are shown as driving straight and not changing direction. However the buildings they pass indicate that they change direction several times. This is probably due to the fact that one can drive from one side of downtown to the other in about a minute and a half provided all of the stoplights are green.
