Robert has Ted in his bedroom, while they are talking to each other, Ted is inching towards the door to try to make a run for it, but Robert catches him, and decides to punish Ted for his attempt. Robert precedes to Rip one of Ted's ears off, and when Ted does escape he picks his ear up off the floor, the next scene is him running away from Donny, with both ears intact.
