It seems in the end that Nick, Chet, and Kate simply get to drive away with the $100,000, not thinking that they have committed enough Felonies to put them away for the rest of their lives. No one seems to think that they were seen without masks by the police officer for a substantial period of time and close-up immediately after exiting the bank; The police have the Datsun 260Z which the owner can easily identify Nick as the individual who was was driving; The Datsun is full of fingerprints and DNA; And that the city bus that they hopped onto is equipped with cameras and the bus driver would have been able to assist the police (they even would be shown in the same clothes as the bank footage and carrying the money bag), is worth noting.
