The time line in part three of the film had to be squeezed much. Private Dolas is captured by the British troops, preparing to invade Syria and Lebanon (in June 1941). Then, in few weeks - maximum months, he gets to Italy, and is sent to Eastern Front as a German soldier. He jumps over Poland near Zamosc, and soon helps the Red Army to liberate Poland - what occurred only from July 1944 onwards.
