(at around 2h 5 mins) Pilots use specialized suits to keep the G-Force from making them go unconscious. After Russell Casse destroys the primary alien weapon, in one second you see the suit on the President in his plane. In a second shot, again for a second, you can see him turn to look behind him, and you will notice he is not wearing the suit.
