After King George V delivers his 1934 Christmas speech, he has a conversation with Bertie. In that conversation, he states that "Herr Hitler is intimidating the half of Europe.....". While Adolf Hitler did so in the late thirties, he had made no threats to any of his European neighbours in 1934.
