At 36:13, Walter tosses the brown bag over the side of the bridge. They are driving appr. 15 mph. Walter bails out at 36:27. At 15 mph, the car would have traveled appr. 300 feet in 14 seconds. Yet the Dude crashes the car another 9 seconds later (36:36) and the shot showing the distance from the bridge to the crash at the telephone pole is far less than the 300 or more feet that the car would have traveled. It appears to be 100 to 150 feet. Plus, there's no sign whatsoever of Walter in the shot, who would clearly have been in that shot somewhere close to the 25mph sign where he is shown to be at when he gets up (36:48).
