When Kelp enters Dr. Warfield's office for the first time, he walks to Dr. Warfield's desk, and after some uncertainty, he sits in a chair. Note that the carpet in front of Dr. Warfield's desk remains immaculately clean. However, when Warfield looks at the track of Kelp's entry, he sees full foot charcoal marks on the rug. It is impossible that the same shoes that left those complete charcoal marks could have become completely clean by the time Kelp reached Warfield's desk.
