When Harriet meets Robert Martin and his sister in Fords, it is raining. She goes in and is only slightly damp, and apparently soon dries off. When she leaves, and Robert Martin runs after her they are only out in the pouring rain for a few seconds yet when they both stop you can clearly see that they are both absolutely drenched when they should have only been getting a little wet.
